I was born in December 1989 in a small town in the east of France. Shortly after that, my family moved to Brittany (West of France), where I spent the rest of my childhood. I was addicted to planes as a child and took my first flying lesson in at age 14. I obtained my private pilot licence just three years later, making me France’s youngest pilot at the time.
While learning to fly I studied communications, marketing and business management. In 2011 I moved to the East of France to start working as a flight attendant for an airline based in Zurich, Switzerland.
During the next 5 years, I had the opportunity to travel the world - seeing many cities of Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. I flew more than 1,600,000 miles to over 90 different cities as a crew member. I explored new geographies, experienced new cultures, and met new people along the way.
In late 2014 during a layover in New York, I met the person that would become my husband just one and a half years later. After more than 120 flights to visit the person that stole my heart, I finally moved to New York City in May 2016.
As a passionate self-taught photographer, I decided to create my own photography company. I still fly occasionally as a freelance flight attendant for Swiss International Airlines.
My start into photography
My passion for photography *really* started when I received my first digital camera in 2004. At the time, I traveled regularly with my family and became obsessed with composing the perfect landscape shot.
Flying afforded me even more possibilities and extended my creativity into plane spotting and in-flight photography.
I could do the two things I loved the most, flying and taking pictures. When traveling with friends or family, I was always the one responsible for taking pictures and I loved it! I took thousands of pictures over the years.
Over the years I have shared this passion with friends, traveling thousands of miles across France and Europe to shoot the most uncommon and abandoned places. We shot places full of history, places where nature has taken over; abandoned chateaus, chapels, jails, hospitals, schools, factories, and completely abandoned cities. These places couldn’t hide from us, making this experience an amazing and exciting combination of exploring while also giving each place a second life, creating for it an everlasting mark in history. A last chance to tell its story to the world.
I am constantly looking for new opportunities and challenges. I never want to stop learning. My ultimate dream is to live from my passion and be able to share it with people who want to document a part of their lives. Ultimately, this is why I decided to enter the world of professional photography.
